BosDates v4.5 Manual

Stylesheets

In order to setup the stylesheets for your calendar system, you will need to login to your System Administrator account. You may login by clicking "Login/Create Account" on the top menu of your calendar. After you are logged in, you will be presented with the user account screen. On the top menu, you should see a link labeled "Admin". Clicking this link will take you to the admin control panel.

When you enter the admin control panel, you will see a list of links in the left hand column. This section of the manual deals with the "Manage Stylesheets" section of your control panel. After clicking the "Manage Stylesheets" link, you will be presented with the holiday settings for your calendar.

Only users assigned to the System Admininistrator usergroup, or who are in a user group with the Panel Access, and Manage Stylesheets flags set to yes are able to view this section of the admin panel.

The BosDates calendar system uses two different stylesheets at the same time, to display or print the calendar. You may have noticed this already when you were setting up your calendar in the Manage Calendars section. One stylesheet is used for all on screen elements, while the other is used when printing off the page.

To create a new style sheet, click the button provided. You will be presented with the BosDates default CSS sheet to use as a template. After you have updated the stylesheet to suit your needs, enter a file name (use a complete name such as "mystyle.css") and click the Process button. The new stylesheet will then be created, and be available to be assigned to a calendar in the Manage Calendars section.

To edit an existing stylesheet, simply click the edit link next to the stylesheet name and you will be provided with an edit box where you can then make adjustments as needed.

To delete a stylesheet, click the delete link next to the stylesheet name. Please note that you will not be able to delete a stylesheet which is currently in use by a calendar. You will be able to see which calendar is using which sheet, since a list is provided next to the stylesheet name.
