BosDates v4.5 Manual
Subscriptions
In order to send emails to subscribers of your calendar system, you will need to login to your System Administrator account. You may login by clicking "Login/Create Account" on the top menu of your calendar. After you are logged in, you will be presented with the user account screen. On the top menu, you should see a link labeled "Admin". Clicking this link will take you to the admin control panel.
When you enter the admin control panel, you will see a list of links in the left hand column. This section of the manual deals with the "Manage Subscriptions" section of your control panel. After clicking the "Manage Subscriptions" link, you will be presented with the subscription system for your calendar.
Only users assigned to the System Admininistrator usergroup, or who are in a user group with the Panel Access, and Manage Subscriptions flags set to yes are able to view this section of the admin panel.
This portion of the admin panel is broken down into two sections. The first section will allow you to send emails to subscribers. Just enter the topic for your email, the email body, and choose which subscription groups to send the emails to and click Process. Your email will then be sent out to the subscribers, 50 subscribers at a time. This is done to prevent over loading the server.
The second section of this panel will allow you to see who is subscribed to the calendars and categories. If you are viewing an individual calendar, you will be able to delete the users subscription from this screen. If you wish to remove a user from all possible selections, it is advised to do so in the Manage Users section of the admin panel.
