Manage Categories Reference
The following is a referece to settings in the Manage Categories section of the admin panel. This section is designed as a quick and dirty reference to individual settings, and not meant to be a global overview of this section.

|
Shows which level of the categories you are currently viewing.

| Add new category |
|
Enter the title of the new category in the box provided. Category will be created with base settings, and as a sub directory of the current location.

| Edit |
|
Clicking this link will bring up the Edit Category screen.
|
| Delete |
|
Clicking this link will bring up the Delete Category dialog.
|
| Up/Down |
|
Clicking either of these links will move the category up or down in the current level.
|
| Sort Categories |
|
This section will allow you to sort the categories by name, or by the number of listings.
|
| Set price for all categories |
|
This section will allow you to set the price for all of your categories at once. Enter the price without any currency settings, such as "5.00" to set a price of $5.00 USD.

|
This sets the title for the category.
|
| Description |
|
This sets the description text for the category.
|
| Price |
|
This sets the price for listings posted to this category.
|
| Allow listings in this category |
|
This allows you to prevent users from posting a listing to this category.
|
| Image |
|
This section permits you to upload an image for the category, or to delete/replace an existing image.
|
| Related Categories |
|
This allows you to choose which categories to display as being related to this category, when this category is viewed.
|
| Banners |
|
By using this section, you may choose which banners are displayed on the top and the bottom of the category. You may choose an individual banner, a banner group, or randomized banners.
