Manage System Reference
The following is a referece to settings in the Manage System section of the admin panel. This section is designed as a quick and dirty reference to individual settings, and not meant to be a global overview of this section.
| Page Title |
|
The text entered into the Page Title box will appear as part of the HTML <title> for the page being viewed. Do not enter HTML into this box. When viewing categories, search page, etc the <title> tag of the page will be updated with additional information such as the category name.

| Meta keywords |
|
The text entered here will appear as part of the META tags for the page being viewed. The text is inserted into the <meta name="keywords"> tag of the heading. This list of keywords is appended with the category title when the visitor is viewing a specific category.

| Meta description |
|
Text entered into this box will appear as part of the META tags for the page being viewed. The text is inserted into the <meta name="description"> tag of the heading. This description is appended with the category description (if present) when the visitor is viewing a specific category.

| Use spider/robot friendly urls |
This setting will determine how links are displayed to your visitors, and to search engines.

| Display language |
|
This pulldown menu will contain a list of all currently available/uploaded language files, so that you can choose which language to display the script in.

| Track clicks out from directory |
|
This setting, when set to yes, will enable click tracking. The click tracking will keep count of how many clicks individual listings receive. Please note that the script does it's best to prevent click inflation by only allowing a visitor to affect the link's count once per session.

| Allow anonymous listings |
|
This setting will tell the system if a user account is required in order to post a listing to the directory.
|
| Auto-approve free registered listings |
This setting tells the system what to do with a listing which has been successfully posted, and was not charged a fee.
"No": Places listing in a pending status
"Yes": Places listing online for viewing, and updates counts.

| Allow reviews |
This setting tells the system if you allow reviews to be posted for listings.
"No": Do not allow visitor reviews of listings
"Yes": Allow visitor reviews of listings

| Allow anonymous reviews |
This setting tells the system if the visitor is required to have an registered account in order to place a review. Anonymously posted reviews are always held for admin approval before posted for other visitors to read.
"No": Require visitors to have an account
"Yes": Allow visitors to post a review without an account

| Auto-approve registered reviews |
This setting tells the system what to do with reviews from registered users when a listing is reviewed.
"No": Place review as pending
"Yes": Auto approve the review for public viewing and recalculate the listings rating.

| Maximum width for images, in pixels |
|
The maximum width an image will be resized to when uploaded by the person entering a listing. This setting is in pixels, and should only be numeric.

| Maximum # of characters allowed in description |
|
This setting will allow you to control how much text the visitor can place into their listing. This setting is numeric.
|
| Email address to send emails from |
|
Enter a valid email address in this setting. The email address entered here is used for all outgoing emails, such as account verification emails, lost password emails, etc.

| Payment gateway |
|
This setting tells the system which payment gateway you wish to use for taking payments from visitors. All valid gateways uploaded to the /payments directory will be shown in this box.

|
These settings are used to supply the payment gateway with the correct information needed. See the "Payments" section of this manual for the correct settings required.

| Require reciprocal link |
This setting tells the system if it should be run in reciprocal mode. This means that in order for a visitor to post a link in your directory, they must first have a link to your site somewhere on their own site.
"No": Run as a normal one-way links directory
"Yes": Run as a reciprocal links directory

| Reciprocal link URL |
|
This setting tells the reciprocal link checker what URL to look for when scanning the visitors web page.

| Reciprocal link text |
|
This setting tells the system what to display for the "example" link when informing the visitor that they must have a link on their own site to your site.

| Maximum # of links on reciprocal page |
|
This numeric setting will allow you to specify to the reciprocal link checker the maximum number of links allowed on the visitors page. If the number of links exceeds the number specified by this setting, the link will be denied.

| Deny reciprocal link if any of the following words are present |
|
This setting allows you to setup a list of bad words for the reciprocal links checker to scan. The list of words or phrases should be separated by a ",". If any of the words or phrases are discovered on the page being scanned, the link will be denied.

| Listings options |
|
This section is used to tell the system which options to present to the visitor when they post their listing, and how much to charge them for these options.
|
| Time frame options |
|
This section is used to tell the system how many time options to present to the visitor when they post their listing. The values here are set as "number of days", so a value of 180 would be displayed as "180 Days". If you do not wish to offer 4 choices, clear out the "# Days" setting for the undesired option. To set an option as "Never expire", enter 0 for the "# Days". For more information on the pricing of the time options, read the "Payments" section of this manual.
