Listings
In order to manage the listings for your directory system, you will need to login to your System Administrator account. You may login by clicking "Login" on the top menu of your directory. After you are logged in, you will be presented with the user account screen. On the left hand menu, you should see a link labeled "System Admin". Clicking this link will take you to the admin control panel.

When you enter the admin control panel, you will see a list of links in the left hand column. This section of the manual deals with the "Manage Listings" section of your control panel. After clicking the "Manage Listings" link, you will be presented with the listings within your directory.

Pending listings

Depending upon how you have your system set up, you may be required to approve listings from time to time. If there are any listings to be approved, they will appear at the top of this screen. With each listing that appears in this list, you will have 3 options. The edit link provided will allow you to edit the listing to make any updates to it as needed. To approve this listing in it's current state, you may click the approve link. Depending upon the listings current state, the approve button may do different things to the listing. If you wish to deny a listing, click the delete link. If you wish to perform multiple approvals or deletions at the same time, select the correct checkbox for each listing, and click the A/D button.

Edit, pending payment: This listing has been edited, and there have been changes to the listing which require an additional fee to be paid. Approving this listing will bypass the fees, and place the changes online.
Pending approval: This listing has been submitted, and does not require a fee to be paid. Approving this listing will place the listing online.
Pending payment: This listing has been submitted and requires a fee to be paid, but the fee has yet to be paid by the submitter. Approving this listing will bypass the fee and place the listing online.
Pending pre-payment approval: This listing has been submitted, and requires a fee to be paid. However, the user cannot make the payment yet since the listing has not been pre-approved. Approving this listing will change it's status to "Pending payment". Upon approval, the user will be sent an email with instructions on how to make the payment for the listing.

Adding listings

In order to add a listing, select which level you would like the listing to be and click the button. You will then be presented with the input template for that level. Fill out all of the information you desire, select which categories to post the listing to, and select the time frame for the listing. Listings submitted through the admin panel never require payment, so you don't have to worry about that portion.

One of the options that you have when submitting a listing, is adding/assigning a user for the listing. By using this option, you can create a new user account, and a new listing at the same time. If you wish to add the listing and assign it to an existing user, enter the user's username into the box provided. If for any reason the user cannot be created, or the existing user cannot be found, the listing will be assigned to you. Once a listing has been created, you cannot change the user associated with the listing.

Viewing listings

The "Current listings" section allows you to view the listings which are currently posted to your directory. The section mimics the layout of the index pages. However, unlike the index pages, you have the option to view expired listings as well. In order to do so, change the selector from "active" to "expired", select which category to view, and click the button. Next to each listing, you will see links to edit, or delete the listing.

Editing listings

When editing a listing, you will have the option to upgrade the level for the listing. Just choose which level you wish to assign the listing to, and then continue to edit the listing as normal. You will be able to change anything for the listing, to include images. You may also change the expiration time for the listing, using the selectors provided. If you wish to set the listing to never expire, select no date in all three provided selectors. If you are editing a pending listing, submitting your edits does not approve the listing. It also does not change the amount due for a listing, if it is a paid listing.
